Small Hope Bay Lodge is an ALL INCLUSIVE resort where you can relax, unwind, get away from it all or maybe have a little adventure vacation all of your own. Either way, you can create your own vacation, exactly the way you like it at Small Hope Bay. Scuba dive or snorkel in one of the largest and most unexplored barrier reefs in the world. Experience world-class bonefishing. Lie in a hammock. Sip a cold Kalik (a Bahamian brewed beer), take a long walk on the beach, or just relax, and read a good book.
At Small Hope Bay Lodge, you’ll get the most established dive resort in the Caribbean. It’s a perfect spot to celebrate with family and friends, get married, take a second honeymoon, or just get away from it all in the Out Islands of the Bahamas.
This small Bahamas all-inclusive resort was built in 1960 by a Canadian couple who wanted to build a new life for themselves away from the snow and cold, in a relaxing environment, where they could experience nature, and share all there is to offer in the Out Islands of the Bahamas with others from around the world.
The resort provides a peaceful, secluded, romantic getaway on Andros Island, where you can create a real dream vacation. This is a very unique Bahamas hotel. There are 21 beach-front cottages, all clustered around the central lodge, built of coral rock and Andros pine, offering a home-like atmosphere. There are two bars on site which are help yourself throughout the day. There is also a game room and reading room.
Because your vacation is about relaxing, there are no phones, televisions or newspapers in the rooms. (The office is equipted with a guest computer and there are phones if you wish to place a call home. There is also wireless internet access available during the day in the lounge area) There is no dress code. This is a relaxing, informal resort, best experienced with bare feet. (Take the hint: leave the necktie and pinstripes at home.) You’ll want to focus on the natural environment, whether you want to experience it in the water, on the beach or exploring on land.
There is a hot tub, a small boutique, a laundry facility and an outdoor patio bar and dining. Small Hope Bay Lodge has been featured in the “100 Best Resorts of the Caribbean,” and “1000 Places To See Before You Die."
