At Stella Maris, guests enjoy a variety of activities. Scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, tennis, boating, kayaks, sunfish sailboats, birdwatching, exploring caves and plantation ruins.
This Bahama Out Island Resort offers a wide choice of free activities. Relax at three fresh wate swimming pools, or at the east coast Stella Maris Beach Cove with beach chairs and cabanas; use of the sunfish sailboats at Deal’s Beach, a three-mile west coast beach with complimentary transportation three times daily; or snorkeling and swimming at the northwest coast Cape Santa Maria Beach Reserve with daily complimentary transportation.
Snorkel, swim and sightsee on your own or join one of the resort’s complimentary snorkeling trips. Snorkel gear is available for a nominal rental fee.
History tours and nature walks allow guests to explore on their own by foot or on complimentary bicycles or kayaks.
There’s also outstanding bonefishing, excellent reef fishing and exciting game fishing all along the two shorelines.
Plus there is tennis and complimentary bicycles or rental cars for exploring. Hotel guests enjoy free daily morning/afternoon land excursions, daily west coast beach excursions, biking, sunfish sailing and kayaking.
Nighttime activities include entertainment by a guitarist and rake ‘n’ scrape band, beach cook-outs, cave parties, moonlight cruises, nature slide shows, historical presentations, a Rum Punch Party, cable TV and video movies in the Game Room.
