Whether you’re looking for a beachfront cottage for two, or a larger beach house for the whole family, Fernandez Bay Village may be small, but it has plenty of room for those looking to get away or celebrate a special occasion.
There are 10 beachfront cottages, which offer single units for two people and six beachfront homes that have either one or two bedrooms with two baths, a kitchen and living room. Two of the cottages have thatch roofs. Some of the cottages have garden baths, while one of the beach front houses has an enclosed bathroom. All cottages and houses are air conditioned, include refrigerators, coffeemakers. There is daily maid service.
While villas and houses don’t have TV, phones or Internet access, all are provided at the club house, if needed.
The houses are designed for families, and the beach provides a safe environment for children to play in the calm waters of Fernandez Bay. Babysitting services are available, too.
Guests can take advantage of the resort kayak, sailboat, beach lounge chairs and umbrellas and the 13-foot Boston Whalers. There’s a resort gift shop and club house.
Fernandez Bay guests can dine at the onsite restaurant, which serves a daily breakfast buffet of fresh fruit, home make breads, cereal, yogurt, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, grits, home fries, a selection of cheeses and eggs. Lunches are a la carte, and at dinner, appetizers are searched at Honors Beach Bar followed by a dinner buffet. All means can be enjoyed on the beach-front terrace or inside the thatch-roof dining room. Of course, locally caught fish and lobster are popular every day all year long. While meals are not included, meal plans are available.
Weddings are not only happy occasions at Fernandez Bay, but they are popular thanks to the beautiful surroundings and the resort’s wedding planner who helps couples with every detail. Couples can choose between a tropical beach wedding, or exchange their nuptials inside the club house or at the Hermitage. Cakes are prepared locally, and flowers are fresh from the gardens. Whether your beach wedding is a private celebration or one for family and friends; Fernandez Bay can host up to 40 people. It also offers honeymoon and wedding packages.
