The Perfect Wedding
For years I wondered what I would write in my journal on this day – the day of my wedding. I wondered where I would be, what I’d be wearing, who would be standing there with me.
And at my best, I never imagined something this breathtaking. The white sand looked gold in the setting sun. Under the steady roll of the surf I heard you say you’d love me forever, and I saw the entire emerald sea reflected in your eyes.
Beginning our new life together would be special anywhere. But doing it here is amazing. Every time I feel a warm breeze I’ll be reminded of this day. Whenever I see a palm gently swaying I’ll think of the way I feel right now. I stood in the most beautiful spot on Earth today – and I married its most wonderful man.
